18.Jun.09 Let the games begin…Bradford City Run is launched
Elite athlete Jo Wilkinson, the Bradford Bulls and the Cougars joined pupils from Greengates Primary School Athletics Club to launch the new ten-mile ‘Bradford City Run’ to be held in the city centre on Sunday 18th October 2009. Council leader, Kris Hopkins was on hand to wave the starting flag.

The South Staffordshire Athletics Network is a partnership of athletics clubs that comprises Stafford Harriers, Cannock & Stafford Athletics Club, Burton AC, Washland Women Runners and Tamworth AC. The post holder will work in partnership with the Network clubs, Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-On-Trent and England Athletics to promote and develop opportunities for participation in athletics and increase the standard of coaching and coaches across the Network.
