    It was with great sadness that England Athletics learned of the death of Andy Glover. Andy was a member of Croydon Harriers and made a huge contribution to the sport of athletics. He was an England Athletics London Region Councillor, served as President of Surrey County AA, was a coach, and was an international starter who also helped out at a huge number of matches of all levels. He was officials’ secretary for the Surrey Schools Athletics Association and the UK Women's League. Andy was also involved in training and mentoring many officials.

    11.Oct.09 Hall of Fame and Awards night celebrates volunteers and all time greats

    The 2009 England Athletics Hall of Fame and Volunteer awards night celebrated the achievements of athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers.  Over 240 guests saw the presentation of the England Athletics volunteer awards and the induction of 13 athletics stars spanning over a century into the England Athletics Hall of Fame.

    11.Oct.09 England Athletics honours volunteers in Awards ceremony

    England Athletics has held its National Awards ceremony at Aston Villa Football Club to honour the sport's volunteers. Clubs, officials and coaches were among those recognised at the event held in conjunction with the 2009 Hall of Fame event.

    Officials - your completed Official's Record of Experience form (also known as the Duty Sheet) is due in 30th September.  Level 1 and 2 officials should send to their County Officials' Secretary, and Level 3 and above to their regional representative.
