30.Jan.12 Top speakers at NW endurance workshop

Over 30 coaches from across the North West attended the final endurance workshop for this winter. Attendees at Grimsaragh Village Hall, near Preston enjoyed 3 different talks from a number of speakers:

Vault Manchester, the annual meeting of UK Pole Vaulters took place on Saturday 14th January 2012 in Manchester. This is a very popular event , supported by Manchester Athletics Network, UKA and Manchester City Council. It gives an opportunity for young vaulters to mix and compete with many of the UK’s elite pole vaulters and this year was no exception with last year’s UK indoor champion Max Eaves topping the bill.
12.Jan.12 Top Olympian supports Athletics Networks' journey to success

Four athletics networks in the North West have joined forces to deliver the first ever Athletics Network Conference. The event marks the start of the 2012 summer athletics season and aims to inspire, support and educate athletes and coaches across all three counties.

The latest addition to the nationwide weekend of workshops "coaching the female endurance athlete" is announced as taking place in Preston, Lancashire. Coaches speaking at this event include Dr John Rogers, Norman Poole and Alex Gorman.
