11.Oct.11 Teachers keen to improve knowledge
The first of the Birmingham Athletics Network's Elevating Athletics workshops attracted eleven teachers from various local schools who were very keen to improve their knowledge of athletics and learn new ways to deliver it in a way that would make athletics exciting to their students.

To signal the launch of the LCDP programme for the coming twelve months England Athletics hosted three area based coaching conferences. The Midlands and South West area conference was held at the Alexander Stadium and HiPac on Sunday 2nd October.
