Andy Frost warmed up for the NatWest Island Games by attending a Flying Coach visit in Portsmouth last night. He met up with Mick Jones who was visiting City of Portsmouth A.C. to support the club coaches and their athletes with their technique at an England Athletics organized visit.

11.Jun.11 Super8 gets thumbs up in Kent
The Super8 format has been given the thumbs up by schools in Kent. Super 8 is the new format being promoted by England Athletics for secondary schools, with teams of eight boys and eight girls competing over eight events and with the scores of all the athletes added together to give the team score.

27.May.11 Isle of Wight hosts NatWest Island Games 2011
The clock is ticking for a major event in Britain this summer. The Island of Wight plays host to the Nat West Island Games from 25th June to 1st July. Athletics is a premier event in a programme of 14 sports competitions, involving 4000 participants from 25 islands around the world.

19.May.11 Double Clubmark for Hampshire Clubs
City of Portsmouth AC and Havant AC received their Clubmark certificates amidst a number of record breaking performances at the Hampshire AA Track and Field Championships.

18.Apr.11 Another success for SE mini Marathon team
The South East team had another successful day at the Virgin London mini-marathon on April 17th, and is looking likely to retain the Overall Regional winning team crown. Four out of the six teams won the team competition involving many excellent indvidual runs.

08.Apr.11 Berkshire girls produce magnificent series of performances
Berkshire U15 Girls, representing the South East Region and competing at the National Sportshall finals at the NEC Birmingham on 3rd April for the first time, produced a magnificent series of performances to become National Champions.
