11.Aug.11 South County Athlete Assessment Days 2011 identify 354 athletes
Between April and July twelve County Athlete Assessment Days (CAADs) have taken place across the South area. The events have been organised as part of the national Playground to Podium framework in which young disabled pupils are identified in schools.

England Athletics is once again holding three major coaching conferences which cover the whole country - one in each of the north, midlands and south. This year the focus of each is slightly different and is based on input from coaches in each area into what content they would like to see.
