The BBC has announced it has won the rights to show the 2010 Commonwealth Games from Delhi in October. The Games, which get under way from 3 October, will be available across TV, radio, online, iPlayer, mobile and new media outlets across the UK.

Commonwealth Games England has announced the selection of the first track and field athlete for England’s 2010 Commonwealth Games team. International race walker Jo Jackson has been selected following her victory in the UK and RWA National 20K Championships on 11th April.
