    The Leicestershire Vision 2020 McCain Athletics Network, a group of local athletic and running clubs from across the county, officially launched the organisation over the weekend with a series of quality, short and furiously fast cross country races held at the Bosworth Battlefield Centre which will be the site of the 2011 County Cross Country Championships.

    The England Athletics 10 Mile championships were held in conjunction with the Great South Run yesterday in Portsmouth.

  • 24.Oct.10 “10 out of 10” for Lea Valley Network

    More than 130 youngsters between school years four to nine from the Lea Valley Network Clubs recent ly took part in the first of three ‘10 out of 10’ Network competitions.  The event also saw over 60 young volunteers from the clubs offering their services for roles ranging from team managers and officials, to announcer and catering.

    19.Oct.10 Children throughout England take part in International Marathon Relay

    Ten English teams using 5 separate venues competed in the 3rd International Marathon Relay against teams from Spain, Ireland and Canada. The teams of 11-year-olds were competing, not only against other teams from far afield, but to beat the Marathon World Records.
