Doncaster AC recently hosted a Hurdles flying coach session with John Baron, level 4 Hurdles Coach. The session came about as a result of a number of enthusiastic coaches making a request to develop their skill and knowledge of the event.

On Monday 12th July, the South Yorkshire Athletics Network was officially launched at the EIS in Sheffield. The Network Comprises 5 local clubs: City of Sheffield, Doncaster AC, Hallamshire Harriers, Rotherham Harriers and Wombwell Sporting AC.

07.Jul.10 Y&H Regional Awards evening
The Yorkshire and Humberside Region have announced that their Regional Awards evening will take place on 6th October at Westbridge House Hotel, Pontefract. The Awards recognise the work of clubs, volunteers, officials and coaches, as well as the areas of partnership and disability athletics, and reward contributions and commitment to our sport over the past 12-month period.

01.Jul.10 Leeds Athletics Community Club Cup
On the 13th July 2010 the Leeds Athletics Community Club Cup competition was held at John Charles Centre for Sport. The competition is for athletes aged 8 – 12 years who attend either one of the 4 community clubs in Leeds or the junior section of an athletics club.
