Over 40 coaches from the South East descended upon Horsham and Crawley on Sunday to join in a number of coach Development Activities organised by England Athletics.

A road running workshop with two top coaches is to be held ia the Julie Rose stadium in Ashford shortly. The workshop is entitled "Planning to progress to the next level", is free of charge and available to all coaches, running group leaders and interested athletes.

We are pleased that we are now able to announce the names of all the Regional Awards winners for the South East of England. The 2010 England Athletics National Awards programme sees volunteers recognised for their contributions in supporting the development of the sport.

15.Oct.10 Sussex Athletics Network hold third Forum
Sussex Athletics Network held their third biannual Network Forum on Friday 8th October at K2 in Crawley. 60 people representing 16 different Sussex clubs attended.

11.Oct.10 Casio Cameras workshop on Wednesday
A workshop has been arranged for this coming Wednesday on Casio Cameras. England Athletics has an excellent working relationship with Casio and encourages coaches to utilize their range of high speed cameras, particularly with the Quintic Sports Analysis Software.

06.Oct.10 MK Endurance Coach Education Centre up and running
Following the setting up of Endurance Coach Education Centres at St. Mary’s University and Birmingham University as part of the National Coach Development Programme, a third centre, in this case an endurance network, was opened on Sunday, 3rd October, in Milton Keynes.
