On Saturday 24th November the first of a series of 3 Parallel Success Coach and Athlete Talent Introduction Days took place in the South. The event was held at Brunel University Indoor Athletics Centre and was organised by England Athletics in partnership with UKA.

It’s been a special year for London with some very special people stepping up to the plate on many occasions. Those people, coaches, officials and volunteers were paid tribute to at the London Regional Volunteer Awards 2012.

20.Nov.12 Mike Barratt 1932-2012
England Athletics was saddened to hear of the passing of Mike Barratt.
Mike, who was born on 27th October 1932, first joined Ealing Harriers in 1948 and gave more than 60 years of service to the club over a period which saw club mergers changing the club first to Ealing & Southall AC and then Ealing, Southall & Middlesex AC. -

The Lea Valley Athletics Network enjoyed a record entry and turnout for their annual Indoor Disability Championships, with over 200 entries by competitors from all over London and beyond.
