    25.Jan.10 South of England Officials' Conference - last few places

    There are still some places left for those who wish to attend the South of England Officials' Conference.  This will take place on 7th February in Twickenham and is supported by England Athletics.

    Funding for young disabled athletes is currently available from the Enable Sport initiative, a national initiative which has been launched by national charity, Caudwell Children, with sponsorship from Barclays Wealth.

  • 25.Jan.10 Advice on completing UKA Level 3 or Level 4 qualification logbook

    In 2010 UKA will be launching their new Coaching Qualifications Structure and as a result are winding down the old UKA Levels system. An online resource is now available over on UKA's uCoach website to help with some of the common issues candidates have with completing their logbooks and offer tips about how to successfully complete them.

    23.Jan.10 New UKA Coach Education Programme - Essential Advice for Coaches

    UKA have today announced that the new enhanced Coach Education Courses will be available from April, as the transition to the restructured system takes place. Therefore all current UKA Coach Education courses are scheduled to finish at the end of March with the new qualifications in operation thereafter.

    The Metropolitan Police have claimed after a fact-finding visit to India that they believe Delhi will be safe for the Games, which are due to open in the Indian capital on 3rd October.

    22.Jan.10 Record vaulters for VM10 in Manchester

    With representatives from Greece, France and Holland together with the best of British vaulters, the latest leg of the French Elite Pole Vault tour took place at Vault Manchester on Saturday 16th January.  Once again a record number of vaulters took part in the competition.
