06.Dec.10 Run! Project for inner London launched
England Athletics is delighted to announce a new project, supported by the London Mayor's Office, to help develop the sport of athletics in the inner London Boroughs. This project aims to take the sport to the parts of our capital where there is currently little or no provision. It aims to increase participation, widen access and unearth raw talent.

02.Dec.10 First ever Road Running Hub goes live on Facebook
runbritain is pleased to announce that, supported by Sport England and in partnership with parkrun, Run in England, London Marathon, RunBristol (10k and half marathon), Reading Half Marathon, Swansea Bay 10k and Birmingham Half Marathon, the first ever Sports Hub for road running went live on Facebook yesterday (1st December).

01.Dec.10 Calderdale Network host nutrition workshop
The Calderdale Athletics Network delivered a Nutrition workshop to 22 coaches and athletes at Spring Hall Track in Halifax. The workshop was delivered by Lauren Jeska, who is the current English Ladies fell running champion and ranked 2nd in mountain running in Europe.

The Road Running Seminar due to be held on Wednesday 1 December from 6.30pm – 9pm at Durham County Cricket Ground, Chester-le-Street, has been cancelled due to weather conditions.We will reschedule it and annoucne a new date in due course.
