    England Athletics sends Season’s Greetings to everyone we have worked with in what has been a memorable year.  Thanks to everyone for all their hard work this year: clubs, networks, officials, coaches, athletes, sponsors, councillors, parents, administrators, teachers, partner bodies, athletics charities and media.

  • 24.Dec.12 Time to Listen - a course for Club Welfare Officers: 6th March

    An Athletics-specific safeguarding training workshop will be held on 6th March in Guildford. It is targeted specifically at volunteers in a club welfare role. It builds on basic awareness and focuses on implementation in the club environment.

    22.Dec.12 Mini London Wheelchair Marathon: entries open

    The Virgin Money Giving Mini London Wheelchair Marathon is the opening event of the Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon. The race is a championship event for young wheelchair athletes all over the UK.  Entries now open.

  • 20.Dec.12 Talent Introduction day a great success

    On 28th October the North Talent ID day began with small dusting of snow, cold air and an early start. The day was planned to help coaches and athletes understand the different ways to train and encourage them to push the boundaries of their own abilities.

    20.Dec.12 South West team selection process for Mini Marathon

    The Virgin London Mini Marathon will be taking place on 21st April 2013.
    Athletes wishing to be considered for the South West Team should be aware that selections for this event will be made from the SW Champs and other national and major cross country, road and endurance track events in 2012/13.
