    As part of the Local Coach Development Programme (LCDP) in Lancashire an “Introduction to Disability Athletics” took place at Preston Sports Arena. The practical workshop was led by Shelley Holroyd - England Athletics Disability Athletics Support Officer for the North.

    British Athletics LeagueThe bank holiday weekend saw the climax to the British athletics league with many London clubs in the thick of the action in nearly all five divisions. The premiership saw their final match held at Newham & Essex Beagles, where City of Manchester were crowned champions of the British Athletics League's Premiership division for the third time in their history.

    The Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Northern Athletics Officials Association takes place on 2nd October.  At the AGM the members elect the Association Committee for the coming year and are always looking for new blood to bring fresh ideas to the Association.
