On 9th January 2012 London 2012 will only be 200 days away so it will be time to shout about our sport and the volunteers that make it happen. England Athletics is aiming to promote the Volunteer Initiative and ‘Are you ready?’ campaign across the country.

On 18th April 2012 London 2012 will only be 100 days away. To promote clubs in your area an event is being organised for each club to host their own ‘Turn up and have a go’ evening.

A number of networks have encouraged clubs to use an induction process for young members to encourage their parents to volunteer. The idea being used by a number of clubs has been very successful.
