23.Dec.10 SW Regional Awards presented

The SW Regional Volunter Awards took place on Wednesday 8th Dec at the Southgate Hotel in Exeter – Nigel Rowe, Regional Chair presented the awards to recognise the support within the region over the last 12 months and also the success of the awards winners.
13.Dec.10 Opportunity for coaches to learn about wheelchair racing

Yate AC are hosting a Flying Coach visit from Ed Grazier who will talk about wheelchair racing; specifically indoor rollers and glove building.
06.Dec.10 South West Cross Country Championships

The South West Cross Country Championships incorporating the South West Inter-County Championships will be taking place at Bicton College, Exmouth on 9th January 2011.
06.Dec.10 Armada hold launch event for Athletics 365

The Armada McCain Athletics Network has held a workshop to launch the Athletics 365 initiative among the Network clubs.
29.Nov.10 Beginners group brings in new members for Running Club

St Austell Running Club initiated the new group as an extension of the main club and the group has grown from a healthy 25 at the first session to now seeing 45-50 people attending each week. Other group members have become active club members.

Team Dorset, one of the McCain Athletics Networks in the south west, have produced their first coaches' newsletter, packed full of photos, useful information, reports and forthcoming events.
