England Athletics Volunteer Awards recognise the work of clubs, volunteers, officials and coaches, as well as the areas of partnership and disability athletics. We are pleased that we are now able to announce the names of all the Regional Awards winners for the West Midlands Region.

27.Oct.10 Cheshire coaches and athletes pass on their skills
On the 9th October 2010, Cheshire Athletics Network hosted another successful event; a Coach and Athlete Development Day. The day was to help coaches and athletes to develop to open their minds to non-traditional athletics events such as aqua-jogging, pilates and gymnastics.

England Athletics today announced that Chief Executive Mike Summers is leaving the organisation after close to three years at the helm. England Chair John Graves will take on a part time executive role and will assume day-to-day responsibility for leading the governing body through its ongoing modernisation programme.
