20.Dec.12 Talent Introduction day a great success

On 28th October the North Talent ID day began with small dusting of snow, cold air and an early start. The day was planned to help coaches and athletes understand the different ways to train and encourage them to push the boundaries of their own abilities.

A number of wheelchair racing training sessions have been organised by Leeds Wheelchair Racing for Winter 2012-2013.
18.Oct.12 Learn to coach leg amputee runners

A series of Learn to Run workshops will be taking place across England over the next few months. There will be practical and theory workshops for both coaches and leg amputees.
10.Oct.12 Yorkshire and Humberside regional awards evening

The Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Awards - sponsored by Northern Powergrid - were held on Wednesday 3rd October 2012 at the Wentbridge House Hotel in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
02.Sep.12 Disability athletics seminar helps officials, coaches and parents

A friendly, upbeat seminar at Doncaster AC helped club officials, coaches and parents with techniques on how to make progress with their disabled athletes. Everyone learned something new, and everyone got to participate and share experiences and challenges.
11.Jul.12 P2P in the North paying off

In the last few months, six Playground to Podium (P2P) days have taken place in the North. With over 330 young disabled children taking part so far it’s a great start to the programme.
