Cheshire McCain Athletics Network are running three coach and athlete development events in the North West. Sessions will cover off-road, endurance, discus, hammer, sprints, long jump, pole vault, pilates, conditioning, nutrition and biomechanics.

The North West combined events coach and athlete development sessions are running over the winter to allow athletes to have a go at new events, develop skills in existing events and enable coaches to share ideas and learn from each other in a safe, relaxed environment.

Merseyside Athletics Network are holding two Coach and Athlete Development Days at Wavertree Athletics Track. These development days are an opportunity for coaches and athletes across the County to work alongside some of the top coaches in the North of England.

West Cheshire Athletic Club based in Ellesmere Port has been awarded Clubmark. To achieve the status, the Club demonstrated minimum operating standards of best practice.
