15.May.12 Club Leaders' support programme launched
Club Leaders is part of the Sport England Places People Play Legacy programme, and provides business training and support to leaders of sports clubs. The programme has been formally launched today in the House of Commons, and the Club Leaders website has gone live.

14.May.12 A great day for the first of the NOTAN QuadKids
On the 28th April NOTAN held its first QuadKids Athletics event at Churchill playing fields. A total of 37 athletes signed up to take part in a great competition.

14.May.12 NYAN Throws Mentoring a great help
After the North Yorkshire Athletics Network launched its three mentors, clubs have been requesting club visits by the mentors to support them in bridging the gap in certain disciplines within their clubs.

10.May.12 West London Athletics Network Schools Meeting
Thames Valley Harriers hosted the second annual West London Athletics Network schools meeting at the Linford Christie Stadium on 2nd May 2012. Despite the unseasonal wintery weather conditions, the meeting attracted a large number from ten local schools.

02.May.12 English Cross Country Association Annual Open Meeting
The 5th Annual Open meeting will be held on Saturday 19th May at the Smart Aston Ct Hotel, Midland Rd, Derby DE1 2SL (near Derby Railway Stn). All Clubs affiliated to England Athletics for cross country running are eligible to attend and vote. The meeting will start at 12 noon.

01.May.12 Hereford and Worcester Athletics Network Quadkids Competition
The Hereford and Worcester Athletics Network will be staging its first Quadkids Competition on Friday 25th May to coincide with the Olympic flame passing through Worcestershire and follows the overnight stay of the torch in the city of Worcester.
