Elections for the Regional Council
As a result of the elections Frances Ratchford and Geoff Morphitis have been elected to serve for three years to 2011
Each member of the council has taken on an area of responsibility, which not only reflects areas of interest, but also their experience in athletics. It means to that there is always someone you can contact with any questions, ideas or concerns.
Frances Ratchford (Regional Chair)
Frances is the President of Ranelagh Harriers; she is also a Level 4 Endurance Coach and coaches at Ranelagh and St Mary’s Richmond Athletic Club and the Surrey squads.

Andy Glover is a member of Croydon Harriers and its past president. He is an international official and serves on a number of athletics committees including Surrey, SEAA and Active Sport committees and was President of Surrey in 2000.

Tony is the President of Ealing Southall and Middlesex AC. He is also a County Road Race Secretary and the leader of Middlesex Development Group.
He is also a coach and official for track, cross-country and road running both with his club and regionally.

Tony Shiret is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and a research analyst by function covering European retail companies. He is patron of Newham & Essex Beagles having previously been President and Treasurer. In 2006 he was British League team manager. He is also a former trustee of the London Coaching Foundation, a charity providing athletics education in London Schools.

Rachel Disley
Rachel is a member of Thames Hare and Hounds and Kingston and Polytechnic AC. She was a county cross country runner for 30 years and is Surrey Schools president. Her main interest is in grass roots and young athletes. She is a mother of four and still running.
