A two hour training and assessment session in sprints, throws, long jump and wheelchair racing. Athletes identified as talented will be offered support to find a local club and coach for further training as well as an invitation to attend regional talent introduction events.

The 5th Annual Open meeting will be held on Saturday 19th May at the Smart Aston Ct Hotel, Midland Rd, Derby DE1 2SL (near Derby Railway Stn). All Clubs affiliated to England Athletics for cross country running are eligible to attend and vote.

Delivered by Lesley Inganni, Development Manager from Action for Blind People, the workshop will discuss some theoretical background behind the various different conditions as well as some practical activities and an open discussion on how to make your coaching sessions inclusive.
