New Year's Honours for athletes, officials and club volunteers

Paralympian Stephen Miller has received the MBE for his services to athletics in the New Year's Honours list this year. The BEM is awarded to Fitmums founder Samantha Barlow. Partners SportsAid's Roger Fennemore and Sally Peck are honoured as is Chrissie Wellington - who is a key figure with junior parkrun. They are joined by club volunteers Ian Mirfin, Janice Eaglesham and Jim Callender.

Christmas celebrations at Percy Pud Race

The Percy Pud 10k race is held annually on the first Sunday of December in the Loxley Valley, Sheffield. The race is the biggest independently organised race in South Yorkshire and this year attracted almost 2,100 finishers including runners from Athletics Clubs and Run England Running Groups and supported by a host of volunteers.

Brussels Cross Cup yields good results for England

England's Athletes did very well at the Joker+ Cross Cup event in Brussels last Sunday. There is always a good quality field for this event and there were again a number of Africans and other Europeans in the race.
