Primary and Year 7 National Schools' Cross Country Championships 2017

The Primary and Year 7 National Schools' Cross Country Championships, endorsed by England Athletics, took place on Saturday 25th March at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire.

There were 1800 young athletes involved in a great day of competition which saw World and European 800m medallist Jenny Meadows presenting the awards to the succcessful athletes across the age groups.

The event, organised by John Skevington, saw the young athletes competing in glorious sunshine and receiving enthusiastic encouragement from parents and other supporters. England Athletics had arranged for Vinco to be present to not only stream the races but also to provide footage that was displayed on a video screen for those following the action at the event.
