ROAD RUNNING CLUB, RACE ORGANISER INFORMATION SEMINAR & ATHLETE TRAINING DAY HELD IN HARLOW
England Athletics East is pleased to announce that the recently held East Road Running Information Seminar and Athlete Training Day in Harlow was constructive and well received by those present.
Aimed at Road Running Clubs, Race Organisers and athletes from across the East Of England, over 50 people attended both events.
These events gave people the opportunity to come and listen to a number of speakers through open talks and question and answer sessions, together with offering some development workshops that may help to benefit road running delivery.
Well know endurace coaches John Anderson, Paul Evans and Liam Cain, hosted the athlete training sessions that focused on providing pace judgement and 5k, 10k practical tuition followed by an intensive Q and A session.
The seminar and training day were invaluable in helping the East Road Running Project Group to finalise their development plans moving forward and these will be discussed and finalised at the next project group meeting in May.
