*NEW Chair for EADG
Claire Rolewicz from Braintree and District AC has agreed to take on the role of Development Group Chair. Claire is already Chair of Braintree and is very much looking forward to taking on the ADG role that until recently was held by Chris Clark of Harlow AC.
England Athletics East Region would like to publicly thank Chris for his time as Chair of the group over the last twelve months or so. Despite juggling chairing a club with a very hectic job involving extensive travel, Chris led the development of the county plan and secured funding for a number of development activities during 08/09 in Essex. We wish Chris all the very best for the futrue and hope to see him back on the circuit soon.
Essex Athletics Development Plan Funding Applications; Now open for 2008/09
What can be funded?
The Essex Athletics Development Group has devised a list of eligible items that clubs would benefit from receiving part funding towards. This information can be found on the application form, which can be downloaded below. There is also the opportunity for innovative schemes to be considered for funding in addition to the items listed.
When can your club/organisation apply?
Applications can be at any time during the period 1st April 2008 - 31st December 2008. All projects must be completed and the awarded grant spent by 31st March 2009.
Who can apply?
The application form states if the funding is to be applied for by specific type of organization. All organizations should be based within the Essex area (please contact karen.barden@sportessex.org.uk with any queries)
How to apply
1. Choose your items from the list of eligible items available.
2. Complete the application form including the total project costs and amount applied for.
3. Send a signed hard copy of the complete application (both forms) to the address on the form
