The East Coach Project Group has been pulled together to help improve both the number and performance of coaches in the region.
The group comprises a number of prominant and successful coaches currently working in the region alongside our Event Coordination team.
The group meets every 2 months and Richard Wheater leads this work from the England Athletics East office.
To date the group has approved
An event coordination plan for region
Helped to organsie a Regional Coaches Conference
Developed a new Coaching Bursary Scheme for the Region
