Nottinghamshire Coaches Survey

Nottinghamshire AAA Coaching and Development Committee need your help to collate and analyse information regarding current coaching practice in the county. At the bottom of this page is a coaches survey which has been designed to gain as much information as possible from Nottinghamshire coaches.

It would be most appreciated if you could spend a few minutes to complete the survey and send it back via the details below. With the results, we aim to construct a database that provides an up to date overview of the current coaching capacity in the County. This also gives you the chance to highlight any ways in which we can assist you with your personal coaching development, if you are still actively coaching? If not, we would still appreciate to hear back from you so can make a note on our database who is still coaching and who isn’t.

Nottinghamshire AAA Awards Evening 2007

The third annual Nottinghamshire AAA Awards Evening was held on Saturday 8^th December at Festival Hall, Kirkby-in-Ashfield. Following a tremendous number of nominations at a particularly high standard, over 120 officials, volunteers, coaches and athletes from around the County enjoyed the night, with the awards list reading:

The awards were presented by the evening’s special guests 1966 Commonwealth Games Marathon silver medallist Bill Adcocks and British no. 1 high hurdler Andy Turner, who also picked up the award as Athlete of the Year for Nottinghamshire. The presentation was rounded off by a handful of special awards including County Badge winners, Clubmark accredited clubs and the naming of new life vice-presidents.

Nottinghamshire Winter Development Squad 2007

The Nottinghamshire Winter Development Squad 2007 has been booked for 2^nd December at the Ashfield School. Athletes from the under 15 and under 17 age groups having achieved the Power of 10 East Midlands standard in their events will be invited to attend the session. The topics covered on the day have been specifically designed for the athletes and coaches, and will be delivered by some of the regions top coaches and lecturers.
