Mobilis Performance Courses

The Mobilis Performance  (see link) Injury Prevention and Optimal Performance Courses for athletics coaches is a series of three 1 day courses (Normalise, Stablise and Functionalise) designed for coaches for all events of all levels.

The course trains coaches in assesment techniques of athletes  and identification of risk areas that may cause future injuries.

Coaches are taught to use this information to prescribe an exercise programme to address problems highlighted by the tests and how this will reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.

Notts AC sprints coach Nikki Mottishaw attended phase 1, normalise, last year. "After attending the first "normalise" course,I have had great success
in the rehabilitation of 2 athletes with long standing back problems. I am so impressed with the program that I am planning a pre-season screening/pre-hab/monitoring program for all my athletes, which I amconvinced will greatly reduce the occurrance of injuries. Can't wait for
the next course!"
