Calling All Athletes
England Athletics in the East Midlands will be entering a team to compete against Loughborough University and a combined Cambridge and Oxford Team.
The Match will take place on Wednesday 11th June 2008 and will be held at Loughborough University.
The team will be made up of athletes in the U23 age group and below.
If you wish to be considered for selection you MUST confirm interest with the Team Manager Alan Richardson by FRIDAY 16th MAY. Please do so by email to arichardson@englandathletics.org
All events up to 3000m will be included and a full field event programme excluding women's javelin (tbc) and pole vault.
Flying Coaches
England Athletics East Midlands is happy to offer all EA affiliated clubs in the East Midlands access to Flying Coaches. Flying Coaches are highly qualified and experienced coaches who will work across the East Midlands to support clubs and coaches to develop good practice within the club environment. Summer Sprints Series Launched

East Midlands Grant Aid Scheme and Athlete Scholarship
The East Midlands Grant Aid Scheme and Athlete Scholarship has now been relaunched for 2008/2009 with a new criteria for the Athlete Scholarships that allows U23 Athletes to apply. The Closing date for the next round of grants is 1 September 2008. Click Here to find out more.

Important Notice to All Clubs
From 1st February 2008 additional member information sent to Athletics Services will be processed as members for 2008/09.
Members will receive cards when the club has renewed affiliation fees after 1st April 2008.
