Athletics Weekly's latest weekly round-up

A look at some of the latest performances by British athletes both overseas and in the UK, including World Masters Indoor Championships action from South Korea, and IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Uganda. Meanwhile, athletes were also competing at the area road relays and combined SIAB and Home Countries Cross Country International.

England take full set of Home Countries Cross Country titles

The England Teams won all four team titles and three individual golds when the Home Countries International Cross Country was held at the Margam Country Park near Port Talbot, Wales on Saturday. However the English runners had to pull out all the stops to hold off a strong Scottish squad in all four of the HCI races.

RunTogether and Race for Life supporting women in their running

RunTogether and Cancer Research UK's Race for Life have launched a new initiative to support women taking part in Race for Life events. By becoming part of a local RunTogether group women are able to access the advice, support and encouragement that is available to help them with their running. Members of RunTogether groups will also be encouraged to get involved in Race for Life events.

Understanding Eating Disorders workshop: 3rd April

An Understanding Eating Disorders workshop will be held on 3rd April in Northampton. This free workshop is run by Allie Outram, a BACP accredited psychotherapist, and ex-international endurance athlete. It is available to all coaches on the National Coach Development Programme and a limited number of places are also available for any other interested local coaches.

Race walkers do the England vest proud in Switzerland

Tom Bosworth, Callum Wilkinson and Gemma Bridge starred for England Athletics in a high-quality Lugano Trophy Meeting in Switzerland last weekend. Cameron Corbishley clocked a new Personal Best and in the Under 20 10km races, Chris Snook improved his personal best and Tom Partington finished in his second quickest time for the distance.

Athlete wellbeing – spot the early signs of eating disorders

England Athletics works with a range of partners to promote the wellbeing of all athletes involved in the sport, whatever their ability, aspiration or event. We want to help clubs and those involved in the sport in adopting a preventative approach to identify athletes who may be at the early stages of eating disorders.

Sir Mo Farah and Kadeena Cox scoop top BEDSA awards

Sir Mo Farah and Kadeena Cox were the big winners at this year's Lycamobile BEDSAs, staged at the Hilton Park Lane, London recently and part-sponsored by England Athletics. They were named Lycamobile Sportsman and Sporting Equals Sportswoman of the Year at a glittering awards show hosted by Sir Lenny Henry.

Hatch Warren Runners latest club to benefit from Club Run programme

Hatch Warren Runners are the latest club to take part in the popular Club Run programme, with the three sessions culminating in many of their runners going on to compete in the Reading and Fleet Half-Marathons which took place last weekend, as well as several members of the club preparing for next month's Virgin London Marathon.
