Athletics Youth Advisory Group (AYAG)

The Athletics Youth Advisory Group (AYAG) is a group of young people (aged 16 to 26 - with max age in tenure being 27) working in partnership with England Athletics, British Athletics and the other Home Countries to represent young people within athletics.

We work with British Athletics and the other Home Countries towards ensuring that the products and services that these organisations deliver are relevant to the needs of young people of all backgrounds, roles and experience within the sport.

What is the Athletics Youth Advisory Group?

Watch this short video, where some of our current members explain what we do and how this affects you!

What do we do?

The Athletics Youth Advisory Group meets three to four times per year to discuss/ develop project ideas and complete tasks for England Athletics, British Athletics and the other Home Countries. The group is self-sufficient, with an elected Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary who provide direction for the group.

Each Member is also placed within a working group, focused upon completing tasks related to their area (see Working Groups for more information).

Through these pages, we will keep you updated with meeting minutes, regular diaries and much more. You will also have an opportunity to be involved with the group and offer your views.

How can I get involved?
