Two High Performance Athletics Centre (HiPAC) Co-ordinators

Based at Loughborough and Lee Valley, North London

Salary £16,000 - £23,500 pro rata

Supported by the Lottery Sports Fund via UK Sport the Performance Department at UK Athletics delivers the World Class Performance Plan (WCPP) for the sport in pursuit of podium places at Olympic and World Championship level.

To support the implementation of the WCPP, UKA have centralised many aspects within four HiPACs. To ensure that this initiative maximises its performance contribution, we wish to appoint two HiPAC Co-ordinators to support the efficient administration of the Loughborough and Lee Valley HiPACs. Directly responsible to the HiPAC Director, these individuals will support the activity of the WCPP staff and athletes and liaise with key partner organisations to ensure the Centres consistently deliver a high performance training environment.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate their ability to consistently meet deadlines whilst working within a challenging and dynamic environment. High levels of IT literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products are further essential requirements of the role. Familiarity with budget management and a sound knowledge of athletics would also be desirable.

We are looking to appoint successful candidates through until March 2009 in the first instance, and in return we offer an excellent salary and benefits package, including personal health insurance and pension scheme. Advertised at a minimum of 20hrs per week, both roles may become full time appointments dependant on the successful applicant, job share applicants are also welcome. The successful candidates will be based at Loughborough and Lee Valley HIPAC respectively and applicants should note which of the two roles they are applying for.
